How does Alfa Laval SMP-BCA work? |
|
The SMP-BCA Mixproof Valve is a pneumatically operated normally closed (NC) valve controlled remotely. A unique PTFE-faced diaphragm, backed by reinforced EPDM rubber, provides a sterile seal that eliminates contamination risk and resists product buildup. This aseptic valve's design includes two seals on the same plug, with a sterile barrier chamber in between ensuring complete fluid separation and leakage detection. Two small pneumatic normally open (NO) valves control the flow in and out of the sterile barrier chamber, which must remain clean and sterile when the main valve is closed. |
How does the Alfa Laval ThinkTop V50 or V70 integrate with the SMP-BCA Mixproof Valve?
The Alfa Laval ThinkTop V50 and V70 are sensing and control systems that can be integrated with the SMP-BCA Mixproof Valve to monitor and control the valve's performance. These systems provide real-time information, enabling efficient operation and maintenance, further enhancing the functionality and automation of the valve in industrial processes.
