The Alfa Laval Koltek Valve is available with manual or pneumatic operation, making it a versatile solution for processing highly viscous products, materials containing large particles, or applications with strict pressure loss limitations. This valve is well-suited for use in the food, chemical, pharmaceutical, and various other sanitary industries.

How does Koltek Valves work?
The Koltek Valve operates via a manual handle or a pneumatic actuator. A spring-loaded mechanism ensures the PTFE shutter is pressed firmly against the inner cylindrical wall of the valve body, maintaining a tight seal.

The air-actuated valve can be fitted with an Alfa Laval ThinkTop® V50 or V70 control unit, or an indication unit installed laterally for remote indication of the valve position. The manually operated valve can be fitted with indication units (used for Alfa Laval LKLA actuators) installed laterally.

Two actuator types are offered:
Single-acting actuator with one main piston
Double-acting actuator with two main pistons
